About Us
Based in the heart of the Devon countryside, Powderham Sawmills, Exeter we specialise and have been making high quality, bespoke, durable garden sheds, workshops, summerhouses for the past 50 years. We use sustainable Douglas Fir timber, sourced from locally grown plantations in Devon.
Powderham Sawmills is a leading local, family run business in Exeter making quality garden products. Steve Kingdon, current owner is a multi award-winning joiner, machinist, wheelwright.
We cover all of Devon including Exmouth, Plymouth, Dawlish, Barnstaple, Torquay, Tiverton, South Hams, Crediton as well as the neighbouring counties of Dorset, Somerset and Cornwall.
Bespoke Sheds & Summerhouses
We specialise in making sheds to fit into tight or unusual sized spaces. If you have an unused space of any shape/size then we can make a shed/summerhouse to fit. We would be happy to do a site visit to discuss your individual needs and requirements.
Durable Sheds
Every shed is built to last, made from heavy duty Douglas Fir/Larch, sawn from the round at the mill to ensure the best quality. Using only highly trained, skilled craftsmen we are proud of our good name and reliable reputation.
